My name is Tricia. I live in South Yorkshire. I’ve been married 48 years for my sins and have two children and three grandchildren who love art and crafts, together we have explored many avenues from them being toddlers to teens. They love to paint pictures and make models out of old cardboard boxes when they come to visit, it’s our special time together.

I love painting with acrylics because my creative world is built from colour, curiosity, and a slightly mischievous sense of humour. Whether I’m painting, drawing, or writing, I gravitate toward bold palettes and bright ideas, using wit as both a tool and a lens. My artwork often bursts with energy: vibrant hues, playful contrasts, and compositions that refuse to sit quietly.

I also like sketching and have dabbled in watercolours, but they are gentler and more unforgiving, so I always return to my acrylic paints and pencils.

My writing carries the same spirit. I blend honesty with humour, weaving stories and reflections that feel both heartfelt and delightfully off-beat. I’m drawn to the small absurdities of everyday life, the moments that make people laugh, pause, or tilt their head in recognition. Whether crafting short pieces, longer narratives, poetic fragments, or artwork my themes stay unmistakably mine: warm, witty, and unafraid of a splash of colour and chaos.

Across both mediums, I am interested in how humour can soften truth, how colour can shift emotion, and how creativity can make the world feel a little brighter. My work invites people in with a smile, then leaves them with something to think about — proof that fun and depth can work comfortably side by side.
